Our Mission and Impact
The Misericordia Women’s Auxiliary was founded in 1945 with a core mission to raise funds for Misericordia/Heart of Mercy Home and to educate members of the community about Misericordia and its important work.
The MWA is proud to have raised over $15 million to support the Misericordia Heart of Mercy Home through a variety of philanthropic events. The Auxiliary is exclusively a volunteer and charitable organization. It is organized under the auspices of the Misericordia Home, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Our members are 120 dynamic and dedicated women from the Gold Coast through the North Shore suburbs. Members also volunteer at the Home both independently and in member organized events.
